Opportunity for a talented Project Manager to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for driving the project forward by collaborating with the project team from preconstruction to closeout. Working closely with the superintendent, design team, subcontractors and clients, it will be your responsibility to foster positive working relationships and be an effective communicator. You will provide leadership and accountability for a successful project delivery that meets or exceeds time, budget and quality objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years Construction Project Manager experience, with at least 3+ years of commercial construction experience. Experience with restaurants, bars, coffeeshops is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent combination of education + experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, change management, subcontractor management and financial reporting.
  • Successful history of managing multiple projects simultaneously, on time and on budget.
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting detailed construction drawings and specifications.
  • Solid working knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.
  • Proven leadership skills with an ability to proactively identify and creatively resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, and MS Project.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam or other windows-based construction management software preferred.
  • Clean driving record.

JOB SUMMARY

Mallet Superintendents are responsible for the direct daily supervision of construction activities on our projects. As a key representative of Mallet, you will use your knowledge, experience and confidence to professionally interact and collaborate with the project manager, design team, subcontractors, site personnel, jurisdictions and clients, always conscious of maintaining strong working relationships. Remaining a positive, proactive, solution-oriented leader who is committed to quality craft, you will ensure that the design intent and project goals are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5+ years Superintendent experience, with 3+ year commercial experience (TI/ground up).
  • Ease reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of construction means and methods (both commercial and residential).
  • Extensive hands-on construction experience and the ability to appropriately sequence and direct self-performed and subcontracted trade work.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, complex projects safely, on time, and on budget.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, teambuilding and mentorship skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications; Outlook, Excel, Word and MS Project.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam or other Windows based construction management software preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Clean driving record.

Mallet's Carpenters take the vision of our clients and make them reality. We have a team that understands craft and doing the job right. Carpenters at Mallet work in a variety of commercial and residential projects. Almost all our projects are daytime work.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in the construction industry.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years as a carpenter.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of all aspects of commercial and residential carpentry.
  • Good driving record.
